Constituded in 1993, Promar s.r.l. is the result of a longlasting experience of its charter members in the naval field. Today the Company is an affirmed reality in the field of naval supplying; its leadership in Sicily has established a collaboration system, with Italian and foreign shipping companies, so as to fullfill orders and deliveries in very short times all around Italian harbours. A qualified staff, with at least 10 years’ experience in Italian and foreign trade, is in charge, professionally and discretionally, of direct contacts with shipping companies’ purchasing offices. Our aim is to maintain a high quality level of our services, to keep the same efficiency in the deliveries and to reduce the costs of the goods offered following a fruitful global market research system.



We provide with goods the following harbours:
Augusta , Siracusa / St. Panagia, Catania, Messina, Milazzo, Palermo, Trapani, Gela, Reggio Calabria, Gioia Tauro. We deliver, upon request, to all the Italian harbours. Promar office is 20 metres far from Augusta harbour's dock., and it is provided with all the newest communication systems: 3 Personal Computers out of 6 are connected with Internet and each has its own e-mail address. A telex service is loaded on computers as well as a fax service, giving us the possibility to deal with offer requests in short times in order to satisfy our customers and avoiding any delay. Our computer system has been set to reduce communication costs either national or international so to let our customers reduce their company management costs. Promar has already started ISO 9002 certification which will be entirely completed within year 2000, it is also certified by the H.A.C.C.P. (Hazardy Analisys Critical Control Points) deals with the identification of the critical control points within the productive chain, where food could undergo alterations, giving way to the drawing up of adeguated control plans for prevention and adjusting actions.
